Canal de Isabel II has a bottling plant in the municipality of Colmenar Viejo which supplies water to users in case of service interruptions. The water comes from the Drinking Water Treatment Station of Colmenar Viejo, the largest one of the company. Before being bottled it is subjected to a special filtering treatment to guarantee maximum product quality.
Once filtered, the water reaches the bottling line. In a first stage, the bottles are manufactured, transported to the filling zone and the stoppers are placed. Next, they are labelled and coded with the preferred consumption date. It is a functional system, easy to transport and use by consumers and this water has a durability of 2 years.
Finally, the condition of the product is inspected, packaged and placed on pallets. These are distributed for users affected by service interruptions.
